About
The Bridge Solution, Inc.
We bridge gaps in rural communities through attainable housing, access to nutritionally dense food, and pathways to employment.
What we do
Three connected pathways.
Housing, food, and work are connected in a family’s life, so we work on them together.
- Housing
- Pathways to ownership
- Food
- Nutritionally dense choices
- Work
- Skills and employment
Who we are
Founded in 2019.
The Bridge Solution was founded in 2019 by Chrystal York, who serves as Founder and CEO.
We work alongside residents, municipal leaders, and institutional partners, and we believe the people who live in a community should shape what is built there.
Working with the city
Decision-makers at the same table.
Thomaston takes part in the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing (GICH), a three-year program of collaboration and technical assistance.
The local GICH team brings together 25 community leaders and residents, with Chrystal York serving as chair. Program partners include the University of Georgia, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, and the Georgia Municipal Association.
Local voices shape the problems. Partners turn decisions into action.
